We present the case of a 59-year-old woman who, three months after endovascular treatment of two left carotid aneurysms, was admitted to the emergency department with headache and focal neurological symptoms. Further diagnostic workup revealed a cerebral foreign-body granulomatous reaction. This clinical case also serves as the basis for a review of the current literature.
