Abstract

Manufacturing strategy in the context of the post-COVID-19 world economic crisis plays an important role in recovering and adapting to changes in the business environment. By increasing flexibility and adaptability, businesses can quickly adapt their production processes to meet requirements in the new context. The manufacturing strategy helps to reduce risks in the production process while ensuring product quality meets quality standards and customer requirements even when problems occur. After analyzing the main problems existing in the manufacturing industry of Vietnam. This study aims to contribute to the manufacturing sector by assessing and identifying appropriate strategies in light of the global economic crisis and the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. Furthermore, this study integrated fuzzy theory with a multi-criteria decision-making model (MCDM) to evaluate and select potential strategies. The combination of the ordinal preference approach (OPA) - Neutral Fuzzy Axiom Design (NFAD) not only gives logical results but also allows decision-makers to visualize the impact of other criteria each other for the final result.
