Abstract

In the midst of studies on disability in different educational contexts, two people, with and without disabilities, discuss education in the face of the sociability of disability. When addressing the social condition of disability, subjectivity, the constitution of the subject, inclusion and ableism seek to understand of disability that prevails in Brazilian society. They raise questions about disability and capitalism in Brazil when they address the social and power relations implicit in the action of including people with disabilities in different educational and social contexts. They amplify these reflections due to the need to encompass how society has constructed, fulfilled and guaranteed rights and conditions so that people with disabilities can be and exist in the world. In this sense, thinking “outside the box” is, at the very least, transgressive, but it is also the result of the constitution of the human subject, as the driver of his or her life trajectory. Although, in order to break with the aegis of capitalism, a revolution must be made, the fact is: differences provoke the human in its essence, especially in education.
