Who we are
We are an open access, open data, open peer-review journal that publishes all research objects, such as data, software tools, and workflows.
Editor-in-chief Scott Edmunds Scott Edmunds leads the GigaScience peer review efforts, working alongside the team through the evaluation and publishing process.
Our evaluation model
Resources are managed using the FAIR principles that state that all scientific data management and stewardship should be Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable.
If you would like to review a manuscript submitted to Gigascience, please review our open peer-review policy.
The Preprint Review Features (PReF) describes key elements of each group’s evaluation activities. Read the paper to learn about PReF.
