Abstract

Climate change remains one of the greatest global challenges. This study explores perceptions among female students at Qatar University (N = 890), recognizing the sample’s institutional and gender specificity. Using a cross-sectional design and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), the study found high levels of climate awareness and perceptions of government initiatives. Regression results identified digital and institutional communication as key influences (R2 = 0.624). The findings emphasize the role of media, curriculum integration, and institutional messaging in shaping environmental engagement.
