Dissonance has been studied right from 1962. In this paper we have undertaken a study to review on cognitive dissonance and its effect on a person’s decision making as decision making is an inherent part of every person’s life. Certain Logical deductive propositions have been derived which can give an inquisitive researcher to further add to the literature of cognitive dissonance.
