Abstract

This paper recommends using AI-generated images in vignette studies. AI tools like OpenAI's DALL·E offer efficient, cost-effective creation of customized visual stimuli. To ensure accessibility, we provide a free Python template and guide, requiring no programming experience or subscription plan. Despite challenges, AI-generated images hold substantial potential to transform research methodologies. This innovative approach particularly benefits pilot projects, students, and early-career researchers with limited resources.
