Abstract

Acute pyelonephritis (APN) associated with acute kidney injury (AKI) is generally considered rare if there are no anatomical abnormalities and predisposing factors identified. It is generally reversible with early and appropriate management. This case report describes a case of APN secondary to API, which was complicated by Pott’s spine in a 51-year-old male.
