Abstract

In this work Hybrid energy fed cascaded multilevel inverter is implemented and controlled using Hysteresis Current Control algorithm (HCC), which improves the inverter output voltage, reduces THD and minimizes the common mode voltage, which is lowered to Vdc/2 times the applied DC input voltage. A modified variable step size P&O MPPT algorithm is developed in this work, which can improve the PV system's dynamic and steady state performance at the same time. Traditional P&O MPPT has limitations, which are addressed by the suggested variable step size technique. In this system results are evaluated through MATLAB/Simulink platform.
