Abstract

The study was conducted in the context of the fundamental renewal of the 2018 General Education Program (GEP), aiming to address the significant gap between theory and practice in Pedagogical Skill Training (PST) for the Vietnamese Language subject among elementary teacher education students. The primary objective is to thoroughly analyze the actual state of students' awareness and core practical skills, as the preliminary survey indicated clear skill deficits in translating theoretical knowledge into practical classroom action. The research proposes a synchronized and evidence-based system of practical solutions. These solutions focus on essential competencies such as Lesson Plan Design (LPD), Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Application, Handling Pedagogical Situations (HPS), and Self-assessment of Teaching Quality (Reflective Practice). The ultimate goal of this framework is to foster a proactive, professional, and student-centered teaching style. Constructed upon the principles of practical application and reflective learning, this system serves as a timely and crucial supplement to the curriculum, enabling students to develop professional conduct and the capability for flexible lesson implementation. It thus contributes practically and directly to improving the quality of elementary teacher education, ensuring graduates meet the high demands of educational innovation.
