These categories are as follows: sense of being a family and togetherness; communication; emotional dynamics; roles and responsibilities, spending time together; and boundaries. The findings show that, long-term marital dynamics indicate that spouses are satisfied with their marriage, feel safe and peaceful, and have emotional dynamics that include feelings such as respect, love, commitment, trust, gratitude, and thankfulness.
