Abstract

This article presents the Active Data Cube (ADCu) framework as an innovative approach to enhancing data security and access control in cloud computing environments. The research evaluates ADCu's effectiveness in mitigating various types of cyber-attacks, including unauthorized access, insider threats, and Denial of Service (DoS) attacks. Through a comprehensive experimental setup, ADCu was compared with traditional security models such as encryption-based systems, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and the Zero Trust Model. The results indicate that ADCu outperforms these models in terms of attack mitigation rates, response time, and resource efficiency, making it an ideal solution for scalable and high-performance cloud environments. The study also highlights the potential for further integration with artificial intelligence and blockchain technologies to enhance its capabilities. Finally, a case study in healthcare cloud systems illustrates the practical application and benefits of ADCu in securing sensitive data. This research concludes with suggestions for future work, including expanding ADCu to other domains such as banking and education, and enhancing its adaptability to emerging security threats.
