The exponential growth of healthcare data and its storage in cloud environments necessitate robust security mechanisms to ensure patient privacy and data integrity. This paper presents a secure healthcare monitoring framework based on the Modified Elliptic Curve Diffie-Hellman (M-ECDH) cryptosystem. M-ECDH enhances traditional ECC by optimizing key exchange, encryption, and decryption processes while reducing computational complexity. The system is designed for cloud-integrated healthcare applications, enabling encrypted transmission of patient data collected via IoT-enabled devices. Experimental results demonstrate a 10–20% improvement in encryption, decryption, and key generation times over traditional cryptographic techniques. Additionally, blockchain integration is employed to ensure tamper-proof logging and controlled data access. The proposed approach effectively secures healthcare information in real time without compromising performance, offering a scalable and efficient solution for modern healthcare environments.
