Abstract

The rapid evolution of 3D printing, also known as additive manufacturing, is reshaping industries through the conversion of digital models into physical objects. This technology, celebrated for its ability to rapidly prototype, customize parts, and manufacture entire products, has particularly excelled in the production of lightweight and durable structures. In industries such as aerospace, automotive, and construction, PLA, ABS, and e-ABS thermoplastics have become instrumental, offering exceptional strength-to-weight ratios, thermal insulation, and high rigidity. The research investigates the mechanical properties like Tensile test, Compression test, and Flexural test. Also, thermal properties were investigated. By highlighting the unique attributes of PLA, ABS, and e-ABS, this work contributes to the ongoing discourse on optimizing the use of these thermoplastics for diverse applications.
