Amyand’s hernia is a rare pathologicalentity: case report

The rare presentation of an appendix within the inguinal hernia sac is termed as Amyand’s hernia. This reporting case is a rare entity is known as a type 2 Amyand’s hernia. A 65 years old man presented with right-sided irreducible inguinal swelling for the last 4 years .During the intraoperative hernial sac exploration the incarcerated appendix is identified that underwent appendectomy with hernioplasty for the same.The recommended decision is to perform an appendectomy with or without mesh hernia repair should always be individualized.
