Abstract

A new generation of nanoporous coordination polymers whose crystal structures are composed of a combination of organic and inorganic secondary building blocks (SBUs) due to their flexible structure and high surface area compared to other porous materials. Metal-organic frames are formed by the accumulation of metal ions and clusters as coordination centers and organic ligands as binders of these centers. In this study Mg/Al MOFs have been successfully synthesized via a simple hydrothermal approach. The interaction of the Mg/Al MOFs nanostructures withhuman serum albumin (HSA) protein was investigated.HAS protein± Mg/Al MOFs-74 docking study confirmed that the MOFs forms hydrogen bond contacts with HAS. The docking energy for Human serum albumin@ Mg/Al MOF-74 nanostructures was calculated -9.75 kcal/mol. The Mg/Al MOFs nanostructures were characterized with scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) for investigate the morphology, shape and size of the nanostructures.
