This article is a scoping literature review focusing on leveraging technology for personalizing English language education. There are 20 studies published between 2020 and 2025 that were included and analyzed to develop themes. The results revealed that the teachers use technological tools to personalize language teaching grouped in three main themes: immersive learning environments, gamification and adaptive AI tools, and mobile and feedback-oriented applications. While challenges are seen and grouped under the theme barriers to integration, composed of infrastructure limitation, teacher preparedness, and time constraints, positive effects are also seen as an avenue for improvement, under the theme probabilities for impact, the enhanced learner engagement and pedagogical impact. The overall review proved that technology-driven personalization of English language classrooms can be done as long as there is a systematized teaching capacity and readiness program, digital infrastructure and institutional support. Technology also serves as a tool for teachers as they provide instructions suitable for different learning styles and aptitudes. More so, they remain facilitators instead of only being a source of information.
