Abstract

This study explores the impact of PowerPoint presentations on students' interest and performance in ICT lessons at Synclaire International Junior High School in Ghana. Employing a classroom-based action research methodology, the study assessed students' attitudes, interests, and academic performance before and after implementing PowerPoint as a teaching tool. Findings revealed a significant improvement in students' engagement and test scores, highlighting PowerPoint's effectiveness in fostering a conducive learning environment. This manuscript emphasizes the need for integrating multimedia tools into pedagogy to enhance learning outcomes.
