Automation of Question Creation in Moodle with Python: Probability Distributions as a Case Study

This article addresses the challenge of generating customized questionnaires, a task that is often tedious, time-consuming and error-prone. To solve this problem, a methodology based on automation using Python and LATEX is proposed, using probability distributions as a case study. This approach allows the generation of parameterized and unique questions, exported in XML and PDF format to be easily integrated into Moodle and reviewed beforehand. Automation aims not only to save teachers' time, but also to improve the quality and fairness of assessments, providing students with more opportunities for autonomous practice.
