Abstract

Digital papillary adenocarcinoma (DPAC) is a rare and aggressive cancer that has a significant potential for metastasis. It originates from the skin of the fingers, specifically from the sweat glands. In this report, we present a case of DPAC that was first diagnosed using ultrasound and subsequently confirmed through histological analysis. To the best of our knowledge the literature, does not provide an ultrasound description for this type of tumour; we believe it is essential to offer a clinical description for sonographers who may encounter similar cases. Additionally, early diagnosis enhances prognosis. This report supports using ultrasound as a diagnostic tool for skin cancer physicians.
