Abstract

In order realize the digitalization data transmission of 4 ~ 20mA signals and switch contact signals related to the control of electrical equipment in a large nuclear fuel chemical plant, a Foundation Fieldbus access equipment was developed. The development of the access equipment was carried out through overall design, principle design, and design of major components. Two independent microprocessors are designed to undertake the signal processing of electrical equipment and the signal processing of Foundation Fieldbus respectively by using embedded microprocessor technology to realize the fully digitalization data transmission and control of electrical equipment. By testing and experiments, the access equipment has high data transmission accuracy, and meets the requirements of the Foundation Fieldbus specification, and has good economic benefits for a large nuclear fuel chemical plant.
