Abstract

Silent gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) may present without classic symptoms and instead manifest through respiratory and laryngeal signs. We report the case of a 27-year-old male with acute dry cough and hoarseness, unresponsive to antitussive therapy, ultimately diagnosed with silent GERD after significant improvement with proton pump inhibitor (PPI) therapy.
