The textile industry, characterized by high labor intensity and competitive pressures, faces persistent challenges in retaining skilled employees. This study explores the relationship between employee engagement strategies and workforce retention within the textile sector. Using a structured questionnaire administered to 109 employees across various departments. The research evaluates six dimensions of engagement such as communication and leadership, recognition and reward, training and development, work environment and culture, job satisfaction and empowerment, and retention intentions. Data analysis reveals that strategic engagement practices significantly influence employees' intentions to remain with the organization. In particular, transparent communication, opportunities for professional development, and a supportive work environment emerged as strong predictors of retention. The findings underscore the need for textile firms to adopt a holistic and sustained approach to employee engagement in order to mitigate turnover and foster a committed, productive workforce. This study contributes to the understanding of human resource practices in labor-intensive industries and provides actionable insights for management in enhancing employee loyalty.
