Energy sustainability is a key strategic focus of organizations in the transition to renewable energy sources. The study conducted a systematic review of the literature published between 2020 and 2024 to identify organizational strategies that optimize energy efficiency and reduce dependence on fossil fuels. Academic databases such as Scopus, ScienceDirect, and Web of Science were consulted, selecting 50 high-impact articles using inclusion criteria related to thematic relevance, timeliness, and methodological rigor. The results showed that digitization, circular economy, and technological innovation are fundamental pillars in energy sustainability. However, significant barriers, such as financial and regulatory restrictions, were identified that hinder the adoption of these strategies. Similarly, the integration of smart technologies and sustainable management models favors the optimization of energy consumption and compliance with environmental regulations. In conclusion, the implementation of these strategies not only contributes to the mitigation of climate change, but also improves the operational efficiency of organizations for the formulation of public policies and the possibility of opening new lines of research in energy sustainability.
