Women Empowerment Through Globalization

Women empowerment, a central focus in the pursuit of gender equality, has been significantly influenced by globalization in recent decades. This abstract explores how globalization has facilitated the advancement of women's rights and opportunities across various sectors. Through increased access to education, employment, and technology, globalization has opened new avenues for women to participate in the global economy and public life. However, this process is not without challenges, as the benefits of globalization are often unevenly distributed, with marginalized groups facing additional barriers. The paper examines how globalization, while offering opportunities for economic independence and social mobility, also exposes women to new forms of exploitation and inequality. It highlights key case studies of women in developing regions, illustrating both the empowering and disempowering aspects of globalization.
