Klebsiella quasipneumoniae is a Gram-negative bacteria of the family Enterobacteriaceae, distinguished from other members of the Klebsiella genus through a chromosomally encoded extended spectrum β-lactamase, blaOKP. Here, we report a hybrid assembled genome of a novel sequence type of Klebsiella quasipneumoniae subspecies similipneumoniae isolated from a faecal sample of a patient with sepsis.
