As a researcher who has dedicated significant time to generating scientific insights supported by evidence, I present this document to highlight a critical societal issue that has been overlooked in terms of accountability. The article titled "The Escalating Crisis of Narcotics Use Among Youth in Mogadishu, Somalia: A Community Based Mixed Methods Study" provides a thorough examination of the rising narcotics use among young people in Mogadishu, employing robust mixed methods to capture both quantitative trends and qualitative experiences.

This research is crucial as it unearths the multifaceted challenges faced by Somali youth in the context of narcotics abuse, including socio-economic factors, limited access to education and healthcare, and the absence of effective policy interventions. The study brings to light the urgent need for targeted community-based strategies and greater accountability from governing bodies and international stakeholders to address and mitigate this growing crisis.

By saving this article, I aim to preserve and disseminate a comprehensive and evidence-based resource that underscores the pressing need for informed policy responses and societal engagement to combat narcotics use among youth in Somalia.
This work not only contributes to academic discourse but also serves as a call to action for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers dedicated to improving youth health and social outcomes in conflict-affected regions.
