Abstract

The MOABCHI-MAFOPOCHE model offers an innovative holistic and conceptual approach to classroom management, structured around seven pillars: discipline, cooperation, trust, perseverance, autonomy, observation, and benevolent leadership. Inspired by the author’s Master’s thesis on child maltreatment in Haitian schools (Joseph, 2024), this model seeks to overcome the limitations of traditional approaches by simultaneously integrating cognitive, socio-emotional, and behavioral dimensions. The model’s design is based on a critical review of the literature and the conceptual formalization of the pillars, ensuring both theoretical and practical coherence. The synergistic interaction of these pillars promotes academic learning, socio-emotional development, and a positive, inclusive classroom climate. This conceptual framework provides a solid foundation for practical pedagogical applications, while opening avenues for experimentation, empirical evaluation, and adaptation of the model to diverse educational contexts.
