Abstract

Conflicts between K-Pop fans and concert promoters in Indonesia are increasingly gaining attention in the digital age, which has accelerated the flow of information. One recent case is the dispute between MyDay, the name given to Day6 fans, and promoter Mecima Pro regarding the Day6 concert at the GBK Madya Stadium on May 3, 2025. This study aims to analyze the role of social mediation in resolving digital conflicts between fanbases and promoters. The method employed is qualitative, utilizing a netnographic approach, which involves observing social media activities, discussion forums, and official statements from the promoter. The results of the study indicate that social mediation occurs organically through the roles of community actors such as fanbase administrators, fandom leaders, and online media. Communal solidarity and public pressure are the primary factors driving the promoter's response. This study emphasizes the importance of two-way communication and mediation based on equality within the digital cultural context.
