Abstract

This workshop, part of the SENSE. and OPUSH projects, supports teachers in adopting innovative methods to create engaging and inclusive STEAM learning experiences in university contexts. In Cròniques de la Calor, participants explore urban heat challenges through citizen science practices. The session includes interactive discussions about participants’ neighbourhoods, public spaces, and microscale impacts of extreme heat. Participants perform "heat walks" using temperature sensors. The workshop equips teachers with practical tools to inspire curiosity and critical thinking.
