Using two bots with varying degrees of sophistication, our research evaluates the effectiveness of existing bot detection techniques in identifying whether a survey was completed by actual bots. Our findings suggest that while existing bot detection techniques can identify responses generated by simple bots, they may not be effective in identifying AI-powered bots.
