Abstract

Organizations implement Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) efforts to create a more equitable workspace for their marginalized employees. In implementing these initiatives, though, they oftentimes lean on their marginalized employees. In this chapter, we explore the consequences that marginalized employees can experience when they are asked to participate in these initiatives.
