Abstract

Single-session interventions (SSIs) are brief interventions involving single encounters. In this commentary, we outline issues with existing models, how SSIs can address barriers, and research considerations. We encourage the development of SSIs to increase accessibility, scalability, participation, and cost-effectiveness of mental health interventions for older adults and care partners.
