This study presents the Czech validation of three widely used environmental psychology instruments: the Environmental Concern scale (EC), the Awareness of Consequences scale (AC), and the Environmental Attitudes Inventory (EAI). By collecting within-subject data from a sample of 562 participants, the study also enabled an exploration of the relationships among the three instruments and their associations with selected socio-demographic variables as part of exploratory analysis. Confirmatory factor analyses indicated excellent model fit for the EAI and AC scales, and acceptable fit for the EC scale. Exploratory analyses revealed a strong positive relationship between the AC and EAI scales, as well as between concern for oneself and for others. A negative reciprocal relationship emerged between belief in consequences for oneself and the biosphere. Additionally, environmental perceptions were significantly shaped by sex, political orientation, age, estimated lifespan, education, and parenthood. This study provides a validated methodological foundation for environmental psychology in the Czech context and enhances insight into environmental attitudes and concerns.
