Abstract

Open research practices have become ever more important in recent years. This paper gives an overview of key concepts and best practices in this area, discussing how open research practices can be implemented at every step of a research project from the design and data collection phase to data analysis and dissemination. In particular, we focus on the concept of FAIR data ("Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable") and how FAIRness can be implemented for different types of linguistic data.
