This paper presents a hypothesis about a possible link between society’s reaction to sexual violence and biological (including genetic) predisposition to such behavior. Based on behavioral observations among mammals and analysis of sociocultural reactions, the author proposes considering the possibility that society’s tolerance of various forms of sexual violence may correlate with the level of biological predisposition among certain population groups. The work emphasizes the importance of distinguishing terms, as well as the need for a scientific approach in analyzing such complex topics.
