An initial study of environment-adaptive software offloading targets

We have proposed environment-adaptive software that automatically converts existing code to suit the deployment environment and operates appropriately. Up until now, automation to various hardware has mainly considered whether to offload individual loop statements. However, because various hardware often requires processing that makes use of the hardware characteristics, it has not been possible to achieve sufficient speed compared to manual modification. In this paper, we focus on automatic offloading of large-grain calculations larger than individual loop statements to various hardware. IEICE Technical Workshop on Network Software, June 2026.
