The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) has requested input on priorities for strengthening the science and technology ecosystem to support both the expansion of scientific knowledge and the mechanisms to transition these discoveries into the marketplace. COS submitted its comments to OSTP with recommendations to strengthen federal public access and open science polices, invest in open research infrastructures, and promote stable and sustained funding to enable meaningful capacity building and compliance with such policies.
