Abstract

Conventional models of the Big Bang frame it as an absolute beginning — a singularity from which space, time, matter, and energy emerged. In this conceptual paper, we reinterpret the Big Bang through the lens of Persistence Theory. Rather than a starting point from nothing, the Big Bang is proposed as a cosmological swing-back: a regenerative return from a prior entropic collapse, enabled by deep informational redundancy and residual reversibility. This view unifies thermodynamics, information theory, and symmetry restoration into a narrative of universal rebirth — not from void, but from structured persistence.
