The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping education, raising questions about its role in teaching and learning. AI is not a replacement for educators but a pedagogical tool with the potential to enhance instruction when used critically and ethically. Teachers have responded in different ways, from skepticism to uncritical adoption, highlighting the need for digital competencies and informed integration. Effective AI implementation requires clear pedagogical intent, avoiding superficial or purely functional applications. Rather than resisting AI, education should incorporate it thoughtfully, ensuring it supports equitable access, personalization, and meaningful learning experiences.
