Abstract

This paper applies the full conceptual and mathematical power of Persistence Theory, together with Terence Tao’s meta-mathematical framework, mutual information principles, and graph-theoretic embedding, to the present existential condition of humanity. In an age of cascading environmental, social, epistemic, and institutional entropy, we ask: What persists? What can survive? And under what conditions? This framework allows humanity to make its collective choice — to preserve or collapse — not in ignorance or confusion, but with full awareness, clarity, and accountability. If civilization survives, it will do so by aligning itself with the deep rules of information, structure, and entropy. If it collapses, it will do so having rejected those rules — with eyes wide open.
