Convened on May 16-17, 2024, at Stanford University, the Stanford-SLAC Extreme Energy Workshop brought together over 100 leading experts from academia, national laboratories, industry, finance, and policy for addressing these challenges and opportunities. The workshop aimed to synthesize the current state, identify critical challenges, and chart pathways for accelerating transformative energy technologies considered vital for prosperity, national security, technological leadership, and responsible environmental stewardship.
