Abstract

This study explores the potential of Clinical Legal Education (CLE) in integrating technology into legal services. As technology rapidly changes the legal field, law students need hands-on experience with digital tools and technologies. CLE programs offer practical legal training, providing students with the tools to handle this change. The study analyzes how legal technologies like blockchain, AI, document automation, and legal research tools are integrated into CLE frameworks. The results show that incorporating technology into CLE programs has advantages such as increased legal efficiency, better client service, and cost savings. However, there are also drawbacks, such as faculty resistance, infrastructure constraints, and the need for thorough training. To successfully integrate technology into CLE programs, the study suggests a framework that includes faculty training, curriculum restructuring, and partnerships with legal tech firms. By bridging theoretical learning with practical technology, CLE can empower future lawyers to navigate the digital legal landscape, fostering innovative and client-focused professionals.
