Abstract

This manuscript presents an examination of generativity—the drive to nurture and guide future generations—as it manifests in queer women's experiences. Through the integration of feminist critique and contemporary queer theory, the work challenges traditional developmental frameworks while illuminating novel pathways for understanding human growth and legacy creation. Drawing primarily on Erikson's psychosocial development theory as a point of departure, the analysis reveals how conventional conceptualizations of generativity inadequately capture the complex, non-linear patterns characteristic of queer women's developmental trajectories.
