Abstract

This article is the fourth in a series of consecutive chapters describing the book "Draft of the Deductive Theory of Life" in the most accessible way possible. It briefly presents a model that was studied in simulations and provided strong grounds for stating that the recapitulation of phylogeny in ontogeny and the associated classical Weismann and Naef regularities of ontogenetic evolution have sufficient causes in the structural tendencies occurring in the random adaptive evolution of dynamic complex networks. Additionally, it introduces the covering tendency, also confirmed by simulations, which has no counterpart in the regularities known in biology. This tendency creates layers in the structure of ontogeny, in which there are loops of hereditary information independent of the genetic level.
