This article introduces Integral Psychology, an interdisciplinary framework that conceptualizes the mind as a complex adaptive system (CAS) shaped by evolutionary drives, cultural environments, and processes of meaning-making. While this systemic perspective provides a broad foundation for understanding psychological functioning and dysfunction, the digital age has brought these dynamics to a critical threshold. Rapid technological change is accelerating cognitive fragmentation, emotional dysregulation, and identity diffusion—exacerbating underlying vulnerabilities and heightening the urgency for psychological intervention.Drawing on recent research from psychology, neuroscience, and cultural studies, the article explores how digital technologies are reshaping the human mind in ways that challenge coherence, resilience, and freedom. It presents a five-phase intervention model designed to restore psychological integration and foster authentic meaning-making. A detailed case study illustrates the practical application of the model.Ultimately, the article argues for a renewed, systemic approach to mental health—one that recognizes the formation of meaning as central to well-being. Cultivating an adaptive, integrated mind, it concludes, is essential to preserving human freedom in an increasingly technological world.
