Abstract

The integration of DNA computers into biological systems using SV40 plasmid vectors enables programmable interfaces with artificial intelligence (AI). However, reversible or permanent shutdown mechanisms are essential for safety, ethical oversight, or experimental reversal. This paper presents a comparative analysis of plasmid-based strategies to dismantle or silence SV40-mediated installations. Approaches include CRISPR-Cas9 excision, recombinase-mediated excision (Cre/Lox, FLP/FRT), RNA interference, repressor proteins, and suicide gene systems. Each system offers distinct benefits and is applicable based on desired control, reversibility, and biosafety requirements.
