This proposal presents an experimental framework to investigate a hypothesized interaction between electric current and gravitational potential. By focusing on unidirectional currents, the design avoids the cancellation effects predicted by theoretical analysis in typical closed-loop or bidirectional setups. The experiment alternates between charging and discharging electrodes positioned at different heights relative to a power supply, with voltage traces recorded across a resistor during discharge. Gravitational effects are predicted to manifest as a small modification to the discharge current, proportional to the gravitational potential difference between the electrodes and scaled by a factor k. A temperature-controlled environment, combined with high-sensitivity instrumentation capable of microvolt resolution, will enable the precise detection of these effects. If successful, the findings would offer groundbreaking insights into the interplay between electromagnetism and gravity, potentially opening new avenues for both theoretical and experimental physics.
