Abstract

In order to prevent or slow brain aging and offer neuroprotection, this hypothesis proposes a possible therapeutic strategy using a TTC-FOXO3 fusion protein. TTC's neuron-targeting capabilities are used here to deliver the transcription factor FOXO3, which plays a key role in autophagy, oxidative stress response, and cell longevity. This strategy may provide protection against neurodegenerative diseases and decrease age-related decline by binding the fusion protein to neuronal cells.
