Abstract

Recently, the search for a Grand Unified Theory of physics has reignited interest in ether theories. Einstein’s Theory of General Relativity showed that gravity is purely governed by spacetime curvature, which separates it from the other three fundamental forces (electromagnetic, weak, strong), which all arise from quantum effects. Some recent quantum gravity theories propose that the vacuum of space is actually filled with a quantum superfluid. However, these Spacetime Vacuum Theories (SVT) have not garnered much popularity in academic spaces, as they do not fit experimental observations as thoroughly as the most popular Grand Unified Theory candidates, string theories. The purpose of this paper is to make predictions regarding the composition and properties of a superfluid ether and propose a superfluid ether model that unifies the four fundamental forces. The first section of this paper will discuss the composition and properties of a superfluid ether, and the second section of this paper will discuss how a superfluid ether model is able to unify the four fundamental forces.
